Mick Owen 51lb Grassie DL2This will be my first trip of the year, I’ve been so busy with the office and such, doing the adverts and the web site as well, I’m really looking forward to it, I’ve got to take a load of photos for the brochures, web sites etc, a bit of promo stuff, luvvies.

I shall of course be joined on my big adventure by the “Skid”, The Skid himself he’s my personal driver and stunt double, anything slightly dangerous and he steps right in for me. He’s worked in the movie business as well as a stunt double and bit part actor/extra, you may well have seen him in a variety of films, for instance who could forget his fine portrayal of the “Gimp” in Gulp Fiction. Years of practice of living in a box helped the “Skid” land that role no one else but

the “Skid” could of got that orange ball in his mouth!!!

“One Fell out of the Cuckoo’s Nest” was another; I think he made the tea in that one. The part that really made him was Jabba the Slut, in “Start Wars” he made that part his own, mind you once he’d been in the costume, everyone else refused to put it on. Who could forget his remarkable display of a dead body in the opening scene of the Normandy landings in that great classic “Shaving Ryan’s Privates”, that’s where he first met Ian, the window dresser/hairdresser, make-up artiste to the stars, he tells me. In fact Ian’s now my personal assistant, personal trainer he’s my stylist, and fusses over what I shall wear for each days photo shoots, I try not to hurt his feelings but “Off the shoulder numbers and peep toe sandals” ain’t my thing mate!!
