Bailiffs Diary: Week 4 - W/E 25/04/15
Not the best of weather last week guys, very unpredictable and the biggest problem was it affected the fishing. Just like to say a big ‘ well done’ to the guys on Lake 1 last week. Most of the fish were held-up on the west bank for most of the week, but the guys who were catching packed-up to let the other guys have a chance. So that at least everyone caught in the end. I mean there are no rules about this, but what a fantastic gesture. Well done all! Although this has left me with half the catch reports, as it was too late in the day to fill out new ones – but the fact the guys caught is the most important thing.
Lake 1
Mark Trayner fished in ‘Kingfishers’ and caught 13 fish on the Cell including three fories and a fifty-pounder fish although sadly no exact weight was given.
Andy Rawle in ‘Sunset’ had two fish up to forty-pounds on the Cell and Essential IB.
Jimmy Young fished in ‘West Point’ and had four fish up to a forty-pound mirror.
Paul Mahoney in ‘The Slope’ had 13 fish out including three forties of 41lbs, 42lbs and 44lbs on D.N.A. baits.
Steve Tippeny in ‘Cherries’ had two fish up to 47lbs on Nash.
Lee Birch in ‘Chimneys’ had 20 fish including five forties of 40lbs, 41lbs, 42lbs, 43lbs and 44lbs plus two fifties of 50lbs-2ozs and 51lbs. Nice hit that one!
John Trayner in ‘Snags’ had 42 fish including eight forties and a fifty on the Cell. (No weight given).

Luke Hammond in peg 30 had 12 fish.
Luke Thorogood in peg 18 had two fish.
Dan Taylor in peg 19 had 22 fish including a 41lb carp plus two fifties of 50lbs and 57lbs on his home made baits.
Lee Turner in peg 21 had four fish up to 53lbs on 15kgs of Pres.

Waylon Tiley in peg 6 had four fish including two forties of 40lbs and 45lbs plus a 57lbs-12oz common on the Cell.
